Abstract canvas "Space Stories" with video tutorial for Finnabair

Hello lovely creative friends! Today I'd like to share with you my new Art. This time I wanted to create a picture for a cosmic fantasy. After all, we can make a very interesting and individual project with materials for mixed media. A variety of textures and shades-your best assistants!

I started by applying a texture paste to create a relief on the canvas. I chose two stencils, one with a large pattern from 7 Dots Studio, and with a smaller one, this is “Manuscript” from Finnabair. It's always great to combine different sized identical materials.

In order to add color I started with thick Impasto Paints. They are dense and very beautiful, with them you can feel like a real artist! I started with light shades and gradually added dark ones. I used Metallique Acrylic Paints for more shine and variety. Here I applied them with ordinary sponges tapping on the canvas. This is a simple but cool technique! Little by little I worked in different shades of blue and purple, adding a White Gesso in the middle for light accents. Added Mica Powder to make even more shine and highlight the relief.
I also drew a planet and made it three-dimensional with paints and gesso. A little more constellations and splashes and space is ready!

I invite you to watch my video tutorial to see the whole process of creating my project. Enjoy!

My inspiration gave me wings. Here is the layout that will leave in my memory this moment.

I prepared a video tutorial on creating my layout, where you can see all the materials in more detail.  I hope you will enjoy

On this layout I mainly used the  Laser Cut Frame Sets. For the base, I chose a stunning sheet from the Vintage Remnants Collection because it already has excellent vintage prints and atmosphere!

Canvas "Romantic vintage" for Finnabair with Video Tutorial

Hello there lovely creative friends! Today I'd like to share with you my brand new inspiration - a mixed media canvas with lovely amazing Finnabair's products!
If you have not tried the new Finnabair products yet, I invite you to fall in love with them with me! New Tissue paper, moulds, stunning Liquid Acrylics, beautiful stamps and other mixed media goodies - you will find all of them in my project!

I invite you to watch my video tutorial to see the whole process of creating my project. Enjoy!

For the basics, I used a reverse side of the canvas and new Tissue Paper. It is amazing and so simple! You just need to stick it with Clear Gesso and you have a chic and interesting background! I used new Liquid Acrylics to add color and saturation to my background. These paints are translucent, so the print from the paper remains beautiful and visible. This gives us a lot of new features. Also these paints are very concentrated, so you will need a very small part.
I made the decor of the Cling Stamps - Wild and free and cut it out. It turned out very delicate and beautiful elements. I also added a few strips of Decorative tape. Something interesting and creative for me.
